Our journey began in 2023 when our founders, April and Walt Costa, were introduced to the newest candy craze. April's brother Mark had brought some freeze dried Skittles to a family gathering in a ziploc gallon bag.
At Sweet Poofs Freeze Dried Treats, we believe that sweets are not just a treat, but a way to bring joy to people's lives. Our journey began in 2023 when our founders, April and Walt Costa, were introduced to the newest candy craze. April's brother Mark had brought some freeze dried Skittles to a family gathering in a ziploc gallon bag. Within minutes, it was empty. We decided to purchase a freeze drier and open our business so that we could share the "sweet poof" experience of popular candies.
